Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and a writer, who has won numerous prizes. Ali MacGraw is well-known for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. New York was her home and she grew up in an artistic environment. She started as a photographer's assistant, and after that she moved on to acting and modeling. Her first two movies, she was recognized and was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw's 1970 movie Love Story was an international smash, and earned the actress the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. MacGraw was deemed the top female box-office actress in the globe after just three releases. The Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature with handprints, foot prints and handprints in 1972. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
