Durrani Popal relocated from the city of Los Angeles with the intention to become famous in the city. She was selected for the job of director of merchandise at the DASH store located in Calabasas. The DASH boutique in Calabasas, California was relocated to West Hollywood (California) in 2012. The store's temporary home in Southampton, New York opened its doors to the general public in 2014. In addition, she was a part of the spin-off "Kourtney and Khloe: The Hamptons". In the beginning, it was assumed that the producers were trying to see the reaction of viewers to the idea of a spin-off by showing the DASH team. Popal's colleagues as well as Popal have been cast as part of the TV show 'Dash Dolls'. Durrani Popal is often referred to Kim Kardashian's lookalike. She is influenced by Kim's style, and considers her an inspiration. However, she does admire Khloe Kardashian, specifically the way she handled a difficult matter involving her boyfriend Lamar Odom.
