Hayley Orrantia is an American performer, actress and songwriter. People are familiar with her because of her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular TV show "The Goldbergs.' Her definition of herself is a musician first and foremost. She maintains that music is her primary passion. She is experimenting in since the age of nine years old. As she grew to 12 years old, her music took more serious form and she began professional training. Following a few attempts at music, she decided to record her album of music covers when she was 14. From that point on, there's been never a moment to rest. Orrantia is of Hispanic roots, however she was born in USA. She is proud of the existence of Hispanic origins, despite in English only, and did not live in Mexico. Her aim is to preserve it through the creation of Spanish songs, and also learning the language. One of her efforts was the creation of a Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for the first season, which aired in summer the year 2011. Orrantia had been chosen through YouTube videos, received the four "yeses," from judges who were in Seattle in the live audition stage. While she auditioned initially in a single performance at "Hollywood Week", she and three other female singers, were placed into an ensemble for the remainder in the selection process. The group was removed from the show in the fifth week of live performances.
