Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookery book author and Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002 and aired 27 seasons till 2020. Ina was employed at the White House as a writer of documents on nuclear energy as well as the budget. While she found it intellectually stimulating initially eventually she stopped her pursuit and purchased a small specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. After selling the store, she spent an entire 18 years transforming it into a highly successful store. Many more cookbooks, and magazines columns which followed. In the meantime the Food Network show was also a success. Her range of items spans from kitchen equipment to ingredients and storage containers. Ina did not go to a cooking school and has not worked in restaurants. Ina is completely self-taught. She's known for her easygoing approach to making food and hosting. She is well-known for her easy recipes like Skillet Roasted Lemon Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese using Beef Bourguignon as well as Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
