Zoe-perry

Perry is the child of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). Perry made her debut in the television screen in the role of Jackie Harris, a character played by her mother in her role on the ABC sitcom Roseanne. But her parents would not permit her to perform until she reached the age of adulthood because of the impact stress might be able to have on their daughter. Perry claims she never wanted to be an actor in highschool but decided to start acting as a social activity at Northwestern University when she switched from Boston University. Perry was able to land tiny TV roles on Law & Order: Criminal Intent when she finished her degree. The feeling of homelessness, however, led her back to California and she returned working in the stage. The Other Place was performed by her and her mom on Broadway in 2013 Perry was in the show with their father Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in 2015 in the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry played a part in nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. Perry was a regular character in the ABC drama about politics Scandal, starring her dad. The actress also portrayed the young Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon, an CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. The actress was chosen for the role despite having a close family connection to the character.
